onesie baby cardThe arrival of a baby girl in a friend’s family gave me an opportunity to make a Onesie Baby Card. This card is inspired by paper artist Lauren Meader’s Onesie Card Tutorial

I didn’t have the same punches that Lauren used, so I sort of winged the onesie, using a different circle punch and a pencil and ruler to create a template. I mounted the Onesie on  layered card stock rather than making a fold in the Onesie itself as Lauren did.

The onesie is cut from scrapbook paper, which I  have embossed using the Cuttlebug A2 Embossing Folder, Swiss Dots

The onesie is mounted on two layers of card stock, the top one being similarly embossed.

I decorated the Onesie with white rick rack and two buttons. The sentiment is stamped in black ink on a scalloped circle cut with the Spellbinders S4-124 Nestabilities 6-Piece Concentric Die Template, Classic Scalloped Circles, Large

On the inside, I have stamped a sentiment “Welcome to the world, little one” on two concentric scalloped circles.
