postcard with a raised I This is an art postcard that I made for a swap at Art for the Creative Mind. Our group had an ongoing postcard swap in 2015. Each postcard had a raised letter of the alphabet. At years end, we had postcards that spelled out CREATIVE MIND>

This particular postcard had a raised I.

For the background, I used a selection of torn papers and collaged it. I added a row of black blanket stitch (rub-on stickers) around the border.

I printed out the words to spell “I am what I am”. The I was a 3-d sticker.

For the design element, I used a plastic window thing that I found in my stash. I used it to frame a stamped image of a woman’s face. I added some rubon stickers to the window frame for added decoration.
