This artist trading card is done in the colour fuschia. I created the background color using watercolor crayons on watercolor paper.
To make the tree, I used a brass stencil and Liquidex modeling paste. I sprinkled microfine fuschia colored glitter over the wet paste, before removing the stencil.
I ran a darker color fuscia (stamping ink) around the border.
Lastly, I punched two small holes in the bottom of the ATC and strung the white and fuscia colored cord through as shown.
This artist trading card is intended for a swap at the Yahoo group known as Art Ventures.
The idea for this swap was to created an ATC showing how fuscia makes us feel. I decided that fuscia makes me fee in awe, or awed.
