I made this non-traditional, black and white valentine for a challenge at Canadian Stamp Talk group.
I used cream colored card stock. I stamped the image onto white paper, using black pigment ink, then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I stamped the heart shape — which is part of the original stamp — again, and heat embossed the same way. I cut this out and attached it with dimensional tape.
I glued the stamped shape onto the card stock as shown, and attached a strip of frilly white lace around the entire front of the card.
Finally, I used a gold sticker to attach a little heart and used platinum Stickles to add some glitter to the flower, which is lower right.
Finished, I think it has a vintage look, although I was not aiming for that.
