Last week, I was the lucky winner of Challenge Number 99 at Playing in Paradise. In addition to receiving a great prize, I was also invited to design a card for Challenge Number 101. The theme for #101 is Glimmer Mist. We were to use any kind of mist in our project.
I used two shades of glimmer mist to bring new life to some old pink flowers that have been in my stash for years.
The Victorian lady and the text, “Be My Valentine” are cut with the Cricut using this cartridge: Cricut Victorian Romance Cartridge
I blocked the card on two colors of card stock — white and rose, and used a pale pink card stock for the card itself.
A few pearls in the flowers and in the lady’s hair complete the card.
Thanks to the good people at Playing in Paradise for invite me to participate.
So glad you joined us on the Design Team this week June. Love your Victorian lady, I need to remember to use my cricut more often. Love the pop of colour you gave to your flowers with the mists!
Your card is lovely, June. The mists really liven up the flowers and I love the pearls you have added to your beautiful Victorian lady. Thanks so much for being our guest this week!
Hugs, Dawn
I can’t wait to try using mists on some of the old flowers I have kicking around! Thanks for the great idea, June
